TsimerMuzik (Room Music/ Комнатная музыка / צימערמוזיק), named so by analogy with Kammermusik / Chamber music, is a concert program that brings the audience to experience the atmosphere of East European Jewish salons of 1800’s – 1900’s. Conceived by Dmitri Zisl Slepovitch and presented by the Litvakus soloists, TsimerMuzik puts together quite a vast range of genres, languages, and urban cultures that were neighboring and mutually influencing upon each other.
